MISSIONS :

As a "multi-technical" inspector, your missions will consist of carrying out regulatory and technical inspections on a large part of the safety installations present in a building. Given the diversity of technical installations to be checked, your missions will focus on buildings of limited size and complexity.

After a period of support and tailored training, you will be able to carry out all the checks of a building independently, allowing the client to benefit from a single point of contact for all covered techniques.

The missions include the following techniques:
​• General building safety: evacuation routes, fire compartmentalization, extinguishing means, guardrails, etc.
​• Natural smoke extraction systems,
​• Fire detection installations,
​• The installations of emergency lighting,
​• The low voltage electrical installations,
​• The natural gas detection systems.

Learning and support phase:

Given the diversity of techniques covered by the position, Luxcontrol implements a structured and progressive learning phase, including:
​• Internal training on various techniques and regulatory frameworks.
​• Field support from a team of experts with extensive experience.
​• Gradual skill development, with guided autonomy.
​• Possibility to attend specialized external training, tailored to the candidate's profile and the needs of the service (electricity, fire safety, gas, security, etc.).
​• Development of the skills necessary to independently carry out all inspections of a building.


COMPETENCES REQUISES :


Training: technician or engineer in electrotechnics, fire safety, HVAC, mechanics. • Ideally, you have some professional experience in the field of fire safety or electricity, but we also offer opportunities to motivated recent graduates.

A few years of experience with a control organization, a design office, or consulting engineer in the field of fire safety or electricity is an advantage.
A good command of the basics in low voltage electricity is considered a definite advantage.
You have an interest in various technical fields of building: fire safety, electricity, gas detection, emergency lighting, etc.
Fluency in French is imperative.
Knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish would be greatly appreciated.
Rigorousness, autonomy, analytical skills, and writing ability.
Driver's license B required
