POST and LUXCONTROL join forces to create a Cyberscore label for businesses
POST Luxembourg and LUXCONTROL are joining forces to help Luxembourg's small and medium-sized enterprises assess and improve their cybersecurity risk posture and thereby meet increasing information security requirements. Under the name « Cyberscore », this new assessment and labelling tool was officially launched in autumn 2023.
The partnership behind the creation of Cyberscore is based on LUXCONTROL's recognized experience in security risk management, analysis and auditing within the framework of Luxembourg and European standards, as well as POST Luxembourg's expertise in cybersecurity and ICT solutions.
International standards such as ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and the controls defined by the CIS (Center for Internet Security) framework provide guidelines for the development of this assessment and labelling process, which includes 18 domains and more than 90 control points.
Based on an on-site assessment carried out by Luxcontrol, the company is assigned a Cyberscore ranging from A to E, together with a detailed report outlining its specific strengths and weaknesses.
A company that achieves a Cyberscore A or B will be awarded the "CyberResponsable" label, demonstrating its level of maturity in this area. This label provides evidence that the company complies with the prescribed cybersecurity standards and is able to demonstrate such compliance.
If a company does not achieve a sufficient Cyberscore , the detailed report, including numerous recommendations, will enable it to establish a cybersecurity action plan. It will also have the opportunity to be supported by POST Luxembourg experts with the objective of obtaining the "CyberResponsable" label.
